Health and Wellness ~ Nutrition
"Nutrition is the soil for health."
If your body doesn't have proper nutrients it cannot heal and repair itself.
How do people live on the things they call foods? If it isn't food, don't eat it.
One of the greatest improvements you can make in your health is to begin eating better. The foods
you eat have to sustain life. Most everything in a box or can cannot do this. Most foods found on the
inside of grocery stores cannot do this.
The best place to get food is from your own garden. Besides this, gather your food at a local farmer's
market. Begin eating the foods that grow in the ground and are low on the food chain.
You cannot eat foods that are full of antibiotics, hormones, or contaminated with other chemicals. Read
the labels. In fact, if it even has a label it probably does not promote health.
Animal product should be minimized, unless of course, you raise the animal and care for it yourself.
A word about nutritional supplements. Yes, you need to take them because the quality of food today is not like
it was 20 or 30 years ago. The enzymatic activity is minimal. You need enzymes in your diet. Probiotics, the
natural bacteria that supposed to be in your gut has to be present for proper digestion and intestinal function.
You need at least enzyme and probiotic supplementataion.
What about the way your body is handling stress? Do you need to feed your
adrenal glands because they are working overtime and cannot support your
hormonal system?
What about your cardiovascular system? Do you know the heart is the most
responsive organ to nutritional support? That is, feeding your heart what it
needs can rebuild and repair it. That may be a breakthrough in your health
you're looking for.
Nutrition is the soil of healing and repair. Stop eating junk and begin eating
foods that will sustain and support your life.
