Pain & Symptoms - Knee Pain
"Knee pain is increasing in younger people. How many knee replacements
can one person have in their lifetime?"
What causes knee pain and how do you fix it?
First of all, the knee is a large joint that bends back an forth and carries the weight of the body and transfers weight to the feet. Pretty good so far, right?
But it also twists, turns and bends in some ways that isn't designed to. These movements can tear meniscus, ligaments, and cartilage and render the knee instable. Once a knee becomes instable the joint wears in places that it isn't supposed to. Could you get stability back by tightening muscles and ligaments? A 635nm laser will help do this and reduce the pain.
What if the feet biomechanics is horrible? I mean, what if the feet are pronated, supinated, or angulated to a degree that the knee takes up slack by twisting inward or outward? Corrective orthotics will change the angle of the foot and take pressure all the way up the leg. The knee and hip will work better.
Maybe the knee joint space is gone, like bone on bone, and every step is painful. Nutritional support will re-supply the joint and possible restore cartilage and synovial fluid.
If you have knee pain you're going to have hip pain, back pain, neck pain, foot pain, or some combination of these. Do yourself a favor and find the cause of your knee pain and get on a corrective program.
